2014 is already proving to be a successful year for Nautor’s Swan and their Swan 60 sailing yacht. With two new Swan 60 models currently in build in the Nautor’s Swan yard in Pietarsaari, Finland, it is an exciting time for both the luxury yacht builders and the Gazprom Swan 60 Class.

Here are some exclusive images of the two new Swan 60 yachts in build, taken by Benny Brännbacka, the Project Manager on the Swan 60 build at Oy Nautor AB.

The first image shows Swan 60-909, and as can be seen from the picture the yacht is well underway in assembly and there is a lot going on with the build at this stage. Swan 60-910 on the other hand is in the final stages of lamination and the second image shows the deck laminates before curing in the oven. The final two images show Swan 60-910 and the hull before the bulkheads were installed.

The two Swan 60s have a scheduled spring/summer delivery, with one yacht being delivered an owner in the USA and the other to an owner in China. The Chinese owner would like to race his new Swan in the Gazprom Swan 60 Class Circuit this year and therefore is hopeful that the yacht is delivered in time for the Nord Stream Race which forms the first event on the Gazprom Swan 60 Class Circuit.
