Leading up to the 2015 Nord Stream Race the Gazprom Swan 60 Class will be sail a charity race for the World Childhood Foundation. Saint
Petersburg Yacht Club and the Norddeutscher Verein will invite VIPs and celebrities to take part on Saturday 19th September.
Taking place during Flensburger Fordewoche at the start destination of this year's Nord Stream Race, the winning charity race team will receive prize money, which they will donate to the World Childhood Foundation.
Racing will follow with an After sail event at Marina Sonwik and onto the evening with the Nord Stream Race Owner's Dinner in the Grand Hall of Glucksburg Castle.
The 2015 Nord Stream Race will start the following day, 20th September at 12
noon. Starting of Glucksburg the Gazprom Swan 60 Class will race 800 nautical miles to Saint Petersburg non-stop across the Baltic Sea.
