The Gazprom Swan 60 Class crews will be making their way to Russia again in May for the third edition of the Nord Stream Race. However, before the international participants of Nord Stream Race 2014 can leave for Saint-Petersburg, they will have to apply for a Russian tourist visa.

Every race participant who does not have Russian citizenship has to have a valid visa if they wish to enter the Russian Federation. In order to assist the sailors with the administration, Norddeutscher Regatta Verein and Saint-Petersburg Yacht Club are offering professional visa support.

At first the Russian visa application process can seem very complicated due to the many requirements of the Russian authorities. In order to avoid complications it is very important that the crews collect the necessary documents and apply for their visas in good time.
