Class Rules
The Gazprom Swan 60 Class is a one design class with closed class rules.
The class is based upon the following principles to maximise equal competition between the teams:
- Owner Driver Class
- Limited to less than 50% of the crew as professionals
- Class rules aligned to optimise the One Design rating under IRC handicap system
- Class rules drafted to only permit items expressly described within the rules
- Sail royalty labels to control number of new sails purchased each year
