Swan 60 Spirit of Europe was raced by Team Europe in the first Nord Stream Race 2012. Skippered by Tim Kroger and a crew of German, Polish, Swiss and Swedish sailors the team took second place overall, finishing just behind competitors Team Russia onboard Swan 60 Bronenosec.
The Swan 60 was renamed ‘Knights of Crevichon’ in the summer of 2013 and skippered by Sir Peter Ogden. The Swan 60 then competed in the Gazprom Swan 60 World Championship in Cowes, taking second place overall after a week of racing in stunning conditions in the Solent.
Spirit of Europe also raced in the second and third edition of the Nord Stream Race, skippered by Tim Kröger. Tim bought a fresh array of youths to the team in 2014 and finished the race in third place. Spirit of Europe finished second in the 2014 Gazprom Swan 60 World Championship and now looks forward to the Rolex Swan Cup .
